Stopped by after a hike at Sweetwater and just what the body needs. Sweet fall off the bones chicken over beans and rice. A small mom and pop shop with a lot of heart. Check it out if you're near it.

Good food. Spotty service. The great thing about this spot is their authentic Jamaican food. It's very good, especially for the area, but is not the best ever. You'll need to call ahead for dinner orders as they run out early and stop taking fish orders well before
Update: i lowered my ranking because of their inconsistency. It's ridiculous to the point that if you are thinking about ordering you should call 1-2 hours before going -

The food is so unauthentic I'm writing my review as I'm sitting down eating. I first ordered the Jerk chicken dry. The cook yelled from the back 'Jerk is cooked in a sauce it's never dry!' Lies as Jerk chicken is grilled first. So I go for the Curry. Dry as hell & two pieces of extra dry chicken. The curry had no depth & tasted like stew gravy with yellow food coloring.
The positive reviews here are either written by their friends or folks with no tastebuds. Save your money. Golden Krust is waaaaaayyyyy better--and it's a chain!!!!! -

Had jerk chicken plate - OK flavor but too salty and a bit overcooked too - didn't know jerk chickens were cooked to "fall off the bone". Colleague's curry chicken tasted less salty - these were falling off the bones too. Not a Jamaican/Caribbean cuisine expert so gonna stop here.
Good vibes tho - thick Patois accented ladies in a hole in the wall with Uncle Bob's pictures all over the place. -

They give you plenty of food but its not very tasty. The jerk was meh and a little salty. How can food be both bland and salty ..impressive honestly.
The Jamaican beef patties was amazing it's made fresh in house.
